Alice IN Chains Reunion!!!

I can't believe I missed the opportunity to see a reunion concert of Alice In Chains here in their home town Seattle.

The concert is sold out. It is nice to see them come back together to play their songs; however, it's without the lead singer Layne Staley--RIP and replaced by William Duvall. Alice In Chains was the first concert I attended and it was awsome! Anyways, I had to vent my missed opportunity and let those who like Alice In Chains know. Thanks!

They may have been my first concert too (maybe second, it was a long time ago), the opened for Megadeth, Anthrax and Slayer.

I was offered tickets to the Providence, RI show and I declined. I like Jerry Cantrell, but it is what it is, and without Staley, 'Chains it is NOT.

AiC was one of my favorite bands and is probably in my top 5 bands. but layne's vocals and lyrics were as integral to the equation as jerry's riffs and guitar work. layne may be my favorite singer. so much anguish translated so clearly through his voice. i can't even imagine it without him, so i'm not going to.

at least the guy's from rage acknowledged it was a whole new band when audioslave formed. i really think jerry should've come out with a new name, but like someone above said, it's probably all motivated by money...
