Any Micheal Jackson Fan?

Hello brothers and sisters

I played my old MJ casettes las weekend and realized how much I like him. I used to listen to him when I was 7-8 years old and I was totally mad about him. Then I got into guitar and didn't listen to him for a long time. Then, all of a sudden I found my casettes (they are near the end of their lives lol

).
I feel really emotional when I listen to him singing the way he does. It means a lot to me I guess, he was my first musical hero and I am amazed he still is...
So... Is there any other MJ fans over here???

he used to be a great artist now hes just weird.

Whether you like him/his music or not, you can't deny the fact that he was one of the most talented pop acts of all time.

I agree MJ was one of the all-time best talents in the biz. I too thought his music was gospel beck in the day, Thriller is the #1 selling album of all time.

Indeed, Michael Jackson's music is fantastic. Much of today's commercial music (radio music) is uncomparable to his old stuff.

I really don't mean any offense to you but I find that really insulting. We're talking about his music here and I'm sorry to read this kind of thing. I love his music and love him, it means so much to me, it's such a big part of me. From what I have read about him he is a really nice and kind person. I don'T know if he did what he was blamed for. I really didn't read about those. I just don'T want to know about it.
What I can say about him is that he makes really beatiful music, and he's one of the best entertainers of all time and that he IS a living legend. That's it.

Michael Jackson. Hmm. Well, I have to say he is a musical genious in his own right. No one can really deny that.

However, whether it be Michaels fault or not, he has major mental health issues. I can respect him as a musician, but I can not respect a man who feels the need to demolish his face, colour of his skin and hang babies off balconies. I'm not going to comment on the child molesting thing, because I think there are way too many extortionists involved... however this man is not fit to be a father to any of his three children.

I once was a fan, back before he sold out on himself. I don't care if he had a hard upbringing... many people have it worse than what Michael did, but they didn't have the gifts he was given as a musician. They either rise up and make an okay living or rot on the curbs of forgotten streets.

Before you get emotional about Michael Jackson, Wis Redz of Silvanost, understand that people do have opinions and they will voice them. No offence at all intended to you and I don't see why you would be. Michael Jackson is the all time biggest star to ever fall from being on top of the world.

I will always wonder why he paid the boy off, so many years ago!

to judge by the sales - very few!

We had a local funk band a few years ago made up of Sydney's best session players - they did about half a dozen MJ songs - I hadn't really realised (okay, I was a bit repelled by the hype, and too busy being a "serious cool muso dude" at the time) until then how incredible his material actually is.

I feel very sorry for the man today, and I really hope he can get his act together, he deserves that much.
