anybody have any idea how to do this?

I was wondering how I can ask Satriani (seriously) if I could join his band, or even just a shot at it. any idea's on how that can be achieved?

Hmm, when an artist is in the middle of a tour with a fully functioning band it's probably not the best time. Maybe Dave Weiner could give you some advice though.
