QPQ is brilliant but long out of print but Brett told me he wants to buy it back one day and re-release it.
For now there's his fantastic solo CD "Big Sky" and Mojo's Tapestry available and full of Brett's penchant for restraint and abandon - whichever is required for the song.
Big Sky is available at places like
Guitar Nine Records
but buying it from his
official site
will put a few extra well desrved dollars in the man's pocket.

I have a song from a compilation with him and T.J. Helmerich. It's amazing.

TJ and Brett are amongst my favourite players
(Vai, Petrucci, M.Eklund, R.Thal, Metheny, to mention a few),
and I just love their Two-hand legato tech.
It's not only cool, but they manage to insert dynamics
into it.... Amazing

I just got my copy of "Big Sky" yesterday. I've never heard him prior to this thread, but color me impressed. His technique is so smooth. He seems to remind me of a cross between
Eric Johnson
and
Scott Henderson
at times. Looking forward to buying more of his stuff.

Hello madam.
"We" had a brief discourse about this recently:

...which may dazzle and delight, but I doubt it very much.
Yeah: great, great player.

FYI: He also played on Derek Sherinian's first solo CD "Planet X".

Brett Garsed,
AWESOME PLAYER!!!
Brett is one talented man, I have his Solo album "Big Sky" as well as "Tapestry" with band called Mojo.
Also his work with Australian singer John Farnham, amazing stuff!
Brett's control, phrasing, emotion and technique are phenominal!!!
And to think he pretty much taught himself how to play!!!
So proud he's a fellow Aussie!!

Phenominal guitarist, his ability not only as a guitarist but as a songwriter is unmatched in my opinion! They way he can convey emotion through his songs is unbelievable.
