Yea, I actually like that CD! Andy43 - seriously, don't let one guy simply looking for "Passion & Warfare Part II" dissuade you from picking it up!

I hate Devin's vocals, and i still enjoy that cd (from time to time)

Sex & Religion is a great CD. True it is quite different from any other Steve Vai CD, but Devin Townsend vocal work is simply amazing.

I didn't like it when it 1st came out because I was one of those who was expecting P&Wpart2. Since I've matured I've grown to like most of it. Steve sang Rescue me or Bury me during the acoustic part of his set and I thought Steve's vocals sounded better for the song than DEvins did.

Devin has a great voice but wasn't a good fit for Vai. Devins solo stuff rocks though, fits his voice better.... and Devin and can play guitar pretty good too,.super f'n fast.... too fast almost.

Well said. Devin took a great album and made it average. If not for his lyrics and ridiculous rapping, "Here and Now", "Sex and Religion" and "Still My Bleeding Heart" could have been great.

It wasn't his fault - I have a feeling that Steve basically psuhed Devin to be as "over the top" as he could. If you listen to SAR and something like Devin's "Terria," it's like a completely different vocalist.

Devin's one of my favorite vocalists, and Vai's a hell of a guitarist, but together I felt like they just brought out the worst in each other.
