Big Sur Moon

Does anyone here know how to play "Big Sur Moon", by Buckethead? If so, what is the delay setting?

This isn't quite what you're looking for, but if you listen to that last note he hits in the song, you can get a good idea of the delay setting. It seems like 1/2 a sec. or something like that. Hopefully you can find some tab online... shouldn't be too hard to figure out by ear though- the 'real' notes are quite a bit louder and more percussive than the delayed notes.

Yeah, I've seen a tab somewhere.

I never really thought to try it with a synchronized delay, I tried it once and treated it as a trem-picking workout.

heh, like i said on vai.com, he uses patch 98 on an alesis midiverb II w/ the blend knob at 55-60%. i'm sure you can look up the patch definitions online. (look for a midiverb II manual perhaps?)

(btw, i know this cause i've seen him do it live from very very very up close and then had a chance to check out his gear after the show. oh, and then went home and tried it on my own midiverb, lol)

That site is great. However, they give a detailed description about how to set the delay, but they don't give the actual settings. I've tried and tried and I can't seem to get it right.
