Bogus Dream theater album?

Hey guys , I was somewhat confused when reading lots of reviews about how bad the new dream theater album 'train of thought' was , I was reading comments like "where are all the solos?" , which confused me because JP rips on this album!! , I then done some research and found out a "release group" released a cd which wasnt Dream Theater , and they faked the song names. I just downloaded the bogus dying soul , not a patch on dream theater.

Another one of the many reasons to actually buy music.

That happens quite often now. I have a full "copy" of six degrees of inner turbulence that isnt dream theater...still quite good though, whoever it is
-better shred than dead-ANDY

I know that Mike Portnoy himself was up to this, renaming older DT songs with the new names and distributing them on the net share sites.
Many were either unreleased songs or stuff from their fan club CD's

With my fave bands, I will almost always buy their CD's and that way I know I'll get what I'm after.

You probably have a lot of rare DT material posing as 6DOIT songs courtesy of Mike Portnoy.

didnt DT split up after SFAM and now there is a look-a-like sound-a-like DT parody band out now?

Sure seems that way doesn't it?

I still can't get into the new album, even after actually hearing "As I Am" On the local homogenized radio station.

I think they've lost it, they are making too much money and don't have what they did in the beginning.

They need to go back to writing songs instead of digitally editing together riff snippets.
