Buckethead joining Ibanez?

Hi
There is a rumor saying that buckethead is going to be endorsed by Ibanez (that would be ultracool!)...
Is that true or is it only stupid gossip?
I don't remember the webpages but i remember that i red the thing on at least 3 different sites: i was just wondering if you knew more about these news...

Pardon me, and I don't mean to pick on you specifically, as I've seen this mistake made hundreds of times on this site, and it always bugs me, so I'm finally going to post about it.

if this came to pass, Buckethead would be endorsing Ibanez, not the other way around.

Ibanez is basically getting Buckethead to agree to essentially say, "I'm Buckethead, and I think Ibanez guitars are great. If you want to be like me, go buy an Ibanez guitar." That is, Ibanez would be getting Buckethead to endorse (means: support, recommend, help sell, etc.) Ibanez guitars.

Buckethead is not getting Ibanez to say "We're Ibanez, and we think Buckethead is great. If you want to be like Ibanez, go buy some Buckethead CDs." (That's what Ibanez endorsing Buckethead would mean.)

Re: Buckethead joining Ibanez?

Ok heres the question for you guys Why is he considered good? I have tried to listen to his stuff and videos on you tube and other than being able to make lots of noise with his guitar I just don't see the draw?
He really has no groove of any type ? he seems pretty chaotic
just my opinion
Enlighten me,
Willy

Dunno how did you get that conclusion.
OK,I admit it.
Buckethead is not an ordinary rock 'n roll guy and you either like him or hate him.I personally like his style. He knows to be chaotic from a time to time, but that's because he makes a lot of improvising and he lets his "mood" do all the work.I kinda like that natural vibe in music but I understand if some people don't dig it.However,he wrote some incredible and excellent tunes and his playing style goes from total silent contemplation to techno/dj drum beats heavy metal riffing madness. He combines just a wide arrays of influences and his albums are reflections of different feelings and moods.
Take "Colma" or "Bucketheadland" album for example.Totaly different worlds.
Personally I like his "Electric Tears" the most.
Give it a try.Beautiful tunes and beautiful music.

Thumbs up for Buckethead!

Re: Buckethead joining Ibanez?

Would Ibanez make Buckethead a guitar similar to his old Ibanez V?

Re: Buckethead joining Ibanez?

Thanks everyone for your time!
except for ferrous whateveritis.
are you satisfied now that you just acted so cool? unfortunately i wasn't born in a country that obliged everyone else to speak its own language to the whole world, you know...
man, everyone understood what i had to say and answered politely. i accept that someone tells me when i made a mistake, but not in that ****y way, making fun of people. otherwise i'm happy that you did that because you showed everyone that you are a loser, telling jokes and acting cool when you are not. learn to respect people that do not speak your language everyday, because you just could have been me, you are just lucky.

Re: Buckethead joining Ibanez?

by the way...
i know buckethead may sound a little weird and noisy but he is also able to play intense ballads. check him out on youtube: search for "whitewash" or "welcome to bucketheadland".
he would be great between hoshino dudes! :-)
