Bumblefoot

Hi-

Just thought I'd pump up one of my best finds of the last couple of months; I got into him in March or so just before he replaced Buckethead in G n' R. Normal and Uncool are fantastic albums, Hands is okay. 9.11 and the Forgotten Anthology are a little wheedly, much like the hard-to-get early albums.

Clearly Drew didn't take my advice, or else he would have posted this first.

Take care.

Re: Bumblefoot

I've never, ever witnessed another talent like Ron. He's not for everyone, and he would be the first to admit that and be totally cool with people disliking his music. But he plays so many styles, that sooner or later he's bound to play something that inspires or touches most guitarists. But beyond his phenomenal musical talent, he's just a good person who truly knows how to teach and he genuinely WANTS to help others grow as musicians. That's why we did this:

Re: Bumblefoot

If he's not new to JEMsite, then he needs to be discussed more. I've been a forum member since the "Old Forum", pre-dating most Bumblefoot releases, and have not seen threads with Ron as the topic. People from the forum would do well to listen to the way he incorporates great guitar work within a well-written song.
