Bye Bye Creed

On an interesting note, the band Creed has decided to part ways. Some of their stuff was cool.

The rest of the band (guitarist, drummer, and original bassist) minus Stapp have gotten a new singer and formed Alter Bridge. Album will be out soon.

Woah woah woah...wtf!?!?!

Quote:
Stapp's first solo recording will be on a soundtrack of music inspired by the film "The Passion of the Christ." He's working on a solo album with the Canadian band the Tea Party.

Just so you know, last I heard, this is far from true. The Tea Party's about to release their own album, then go on tour. This will not happen.

Besides, if Stapp thought his religion clashed with his previous band, he really wouldn't like Jeff Martin

Hahaha. Yeah I heard that, and I spat coffee across the room when I read that Tea Party thing.

This sucks!!

Creed was like the best band of the last 10 years.

Anytime I was cruising around Harvard in 1997 or 1998 in my BMW... you can rest assure that Creed was blaring through the speakers!!

A while back when I was at a Micheal Angelo Batio clinic, he said that Creed had broken up and the Mark Tremmonti(sp?) had recorded a guest spot on his(Angelo's) latest CD.
Should be interesting. Micheal mentioned that Mark is actually quite the impressive shredder.

Jeff Martin = Lead singer/guitarist of The Tea Party (at least, that's the one I referred to)

Oh well, can't say I'll ever miss them. Or that I even noticed they were around to be honest.

Yea, they did kinda fade out of the spotlight, but as the article said, they took the last year or so off and just decided not to go back

Now all we have to do is get rid of Nickelback, Default, etc etc, and the rest of the "Creed-alikes," and I'll be happy.

Seriously guys, how many times can you write the same song?

I'll admit, they did have a catchy intro to "Higher", but that's about all the credit I can give them.

Seriously, I got tired of hearing some guy sing "With Arms Wide Open" to his girlfriend after about the first time...

I still can't see how they're like Creed. Especially now. Nickelback's got their own sound, and I really like some of Default's new stuff.
