Can you recommend 70's-80's songs to play in my Retro party?

I am assigned from my company to form the band to play live music at company's retro night party. I have 2 guitars, 1 bass, 1 drum, 1 percussion and 1 trumpet now. I just want to make the party fun with some fast ans some slow 70's - 80's musics.

I have only 3 songs in my list now.
- My Sharona.
- I will survive. and
- YMCA

I am not familiar to the retro songs. Can you recommend 6-7 song more in the tempo like those above 3 and 3-4 songs for slow dancing?

Thank you so much in advance.

Up tempo stuff,
Rock Lobster - B 52's
Mickey - Toni Basil
Hit Me With your Best Shot - Pat Benetar
Call me - blondie
Whip It - Devo
Dancing Queen - ABBA
Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Queen

Sounds like a fun gig, good luck with it.

Get "Chicago's Greatest Hits" and see if you can play any of those. The trumpet will fit, and the tunes are great.

I just played a party and we did the same kind of tunes. Here are a few we did that would work for you:
867-5309 (Jenny) - Tommy Tune
Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield
Any way you want it - Journey
All day and all of the night - The Kinks (older I know, but a good party song)
Play that Funky music - I don't remember who sing this

These are all easy tunes, and fun to play. Good luck!
