yup I can't think of any who deserves it as much as Jason if not for the fact he was such an inspiration to guitarists everywhere, for the fact he's stayed so positive and upbeat and unwilling to give in to als which imho should be (and is personally) a much bigger inspiration.

I totally agree with you.
It moved me alot as a person and as a guitar player when I heard his
story. This is a great project and I applaude everyone who had a part in it.

I don't know if I can post this here but there's something that I have to say....


A few days ago I wrote a column about Jason Becker and I TRIED to post it on Ulti****-Gu**** and they refused to post it...they said it wasn't good enough..(it had at least 2 and a half MS Word pages and it was written by me and other english and american users...research..everything..we collaborated on that project because jason deserved to have a column that talked about his life.....we dedicated lots of time to write that)....they said the column was bad....we wrote it again and thay refused it anyway.....

well...today they posted a column that some guy wrote with half a MS Word page about how to construct a guitar (that column is Terrible! bad written etc....)...that site is just ridiculous (filled with 13 year old kids and los of threads about masterb***** and stuff like that..no guitar talks...it's just lame.....and they refused our column to post another about how to build a guitar...(that has been done thowsands of times...and our column was the first about jason on that site...that's sad........well that's life....

sorry if I was to rude and said things that I shouldn't have said...but...this is how things are and I was waiting for an oportunity to talk about this injustice....thanks

Lately, I have been watching Jason Becker's Clinic and the one in Tokyo, 1989 is impressive, phenomenal he is in this clinic. It is also nice to see that he is still making music even with his ailment. Jason Becker is awesome.

Yes he;s very good! I love becker, it's a sad thing that he got that sickness though, I wonder how good he'll be if he's not ill
