Re: Check out my site
An informative site, though I'll leave you some feedback:
Content: I personally have an issue with dividing guitarists into "players" and "shredders", but it might just be me.
Technical stuff: I don't think that having links like "gallery" open a submenu "gallery1" and "gallery2" is a good idea. We don't know what the difference between gallery 1 and 2 is, it should be more something along the lines of "players A-M" and "players M-X", or "guitarists" and "guitars", or "live" and "studio" - anything, just let us know what the galleries are, or at least tell us that both galleries will have the same content. Also, the user needs to click a few too many links to get to the gallery, which is somewhat annoying - why can't I oppen "gallery1" directly from the navigation submenu? (or whatever they're called - I am not good with jargon)
Same thing applies to dividing shredders up into groups 1 and 2 - what do those mean? What kind of division is it? If I scroll over the shredders link and "group1" popus up, it doesn't tell me anything.
Also, I would consider somehow making it clear that clicking the "news" link will take the user home - it's not really clear. I wanted to read the homepage but could not find a link for it. I would consider having the most current news item on the home page and all the news on a separate news page with its own link.
I am not that keen on the colour scheme and graphics, but that's another issue and it might just be me.
Sorry If it sounded like I was picking on you, I just wanted to give you some constructive feedback - most of these are just usability issues. Your content is good, but, no matter how good the content is, users will not keep coming back to a site without a clear and effective navigation.

Pretty cool site! I thought many of the same things as Pawel, Basically just needs some tweaking.
Looks like you put a lot of work into though and I learned a few things!

Re: Check out my site
I'd agree with pawel on the UI stuff. Also, if you're going to be taking your content from wikipedia, you need to give them proper credit.

Its for a project so most of the info was borrowed (I will update them though)
For the division of groups there is no significance, I thought the drop down list extended to far down the page and users don't like extra scrolling
Guitar Players was put there because I had them previously in guitar shredders and loads of people complained.
For the gallery I had to have two because it was in my project documentation
Also embedding it into the I frame made it look to clustered and too much scrolling again
I felt that there was no need to be a home page as the welcome will be gone in a few weeks or so.
