Re: Dean Guitar Contest
Really a second thread about this?
http://www.jemsite.com/forums/f27/ev...out-79146.html
Is dean paying you in pointy Indonesian guitars to pimp this contest?
You didnt get the message from the lack of interest in the other thread?

Re: Dean Guitar Contest
You would have to give me a Dean anyway for me to play it.
Even then I might sell it off.

Don't be so harsh guys, with the prize money you could always buy a nice Ibby.

1. Thx for replying to this thread, I'm sure your negative reply is sure to generate more views than my other post, so thank you!
2.Inexpensive Deans are made in Korea, not Indonesia
3.No, Dean is not paying me in guitars, I'm not that lucky.
4. If I wanted to play a bolt-on japanese guitar i'd buy a Squier.
5. My $600 Korean ML plays far better than your beloved RG's and JEMS.
6. See #4
7. You're just jealous because I'm cooler than you.

Re: Dean Guitar Contest
1. Squires aren't made in Japan.
2. If I wanted a guitar made in korea it'd still be an Ibanez
3. If I wanted to play a baseball bat with pickups I'd buy a Les Paul
4. If I wanted to purchase something from a company who's creator doesn't even believe in the product I'd buy a Starbucks latte.
5. If I wanted to look even more like a red neck than humanly possible I'd consider one of those god awful razorback things Dean calls a guitar.
6.
You're
just jealous because
I'm
better than every Dean endorsed guitarist.
oh yeah and Marshalls suck!

Yet here you are, a sad, desperate little lad, looking for our approval.

With your face and your "music" Helen Keller is the only one who could appreciate either and, sadly for you, she's dead.

Re: Dean Guitar Contest
I really had no intention of getting into a big argument with this thread so I'm just gonna walk away now.
BTW
I've never heard kotornut play, but I'm willing to bet Rusty Cooley,
Michael Angelo Batio
, and Vinnie Moore are all far more advanced players than him. They also all play Deans.

Hmmm. Just can't seem to see how me saying my guitar plays better than EVERY Ibanez I've ever played means I'm looking for your lame-assed approval.

Re: Dean Guitar Contest
Ah come back Marshall man it was fun. Don't be a sore sport we were just checking your trolliness. You know to see if your here just to advertise or for real reasons.
Dang all the ones with good argument skills leave. He didn't even stay long enough to criticize my grammar or spelling.
Vinne Moore plays a Dean? I didn't know that.

Sorry I got defensive. What did I expect for talking about a Dean competition on an Ibanez site.
You mean like
The "K" in Korean should've been capitalized.
Its "Squier" and not "Squire"
The "O" in Oh yeah should've been capitalized
Oh yeah and I have no idea what the hell "trolliness" is. LOL

Re: Dean Guitar Contest
Maybe somebody should note that there are only 3 factories in Korea and Ibanez has used them all, so the $600 Dean was made by the exact same hands that made RG350's and S470's. So, how in the world could it possibly play any better

Those Deans are sharp for Darwinian reasons. They wipe out the weaker of the factory workers, and those who live are moved on to the Ibanezes.
