Famous players guitar picks

I've been toying around with the idea of creating a virtual photo album of my collection of famous players picks for some time. Since I've recently learned how to post pictures here I figured why not share, so if your interested in seeing some of your favorite player (whoever it may be) let me know, I have over a thousand different ones that span a broad range of music and time. I think it could be fun.
thanks
MT

I think that would look cool.

You should do it. I think It would make a neat looking background on a computer.

I have several. All three are from the Cacophony Days. The only one I have ever seen another of is the one with the dog on it. These were tough to get even before his condition set in because they didn't tour the states much. I am glad to see he is doing ok in the new Guitar World Mag. The Marty pick says PickBoy Monster on the back. They are around 1.0 MM and the Marty is a little lighter, maybe .88 or so.

Re: Famous players guitar picks

So there are no personalized Hendrix picks to be found at all? If not, when did they become popular among artists?

Knopfler. Yeah, I know, but has used a pick or two, I'm sure. And those might have some value for a collector.

Any picks you can show that is rare, or extremely hard to get? Ron Thal picks?

Don't have a Thal pick, as far as I know he doesn't have them with his name on them, neither does BucketHead

As for rarer ones, these are some I just grabbed off the top of my head.

Layne, one from Lollapalooza and one from the Dirt tour. Hard to get because his tech was a punk. I actually ended up getting the purple one from Layne and the black one from Jerry. Go figure. Layne and Jerry were both very cool.

Chris Cornell, Very tough to get because they just didn't tour that much and they like to stay out of the public's reach when they do. These came from Chris, he's very nice also. The Ben Shepard pick says it all, what a jerk, one of their techs gave me these and said he was a jerk too!

The Eric Johnson is his very first pick, I've never seen another one. A friend got it for me in the mid to late 80's when he played a local bar. As far as I know he's always played the red one below it. A friend also got me that one last year.

The top one is from Jeff Beck, what else canI say! He's the man.

I have a bunch more rare ones I will post tommorrow or the next day, including some Metallica ones they decided not use for one reason or another.
I also have some Jake E Lee's which are rarer than rare.

Hope you guys enjoy!

Cool! And there is at least one Ron Thal pick out there, or it might say Bumblefoot - Uncool. Orange, if I'm not mistaken. I've got three of them, I think, from Ron himself with some signed albums.

Re: Famous players guitar picks

I've got a Yngwie pick, a Satriani pick, and a Eric Sardinas pick. The first two were caught at concerts and the third was given to me by Eric. Also, nice collection!
