Fear Factory

I went to their site recently out of curiousity just to see if it was still up, and to my amazement it was full with news of their new album.

So, apparently, Fear Factory lives again, but this time w/out Dino. The old bassist is now playing guitar (custom Jackson 7-string tru a Marshall rack setup) and they got a new bassist.

Anyone heard the new material? Still waiting to give the new album, Archetype, a good listen but it's been getting very good reviews from what I've seen.

Yeah, they've been reformed without Dino for a while now. The bassist is Byron. He also plays in Strapping Young Lad & Zimmer's Hole (both based out of Vancouver, British Columbia).

I bought the album & was only impressed with Tracks 1, 2, & 10. The rest is recycled FF. I saw their show last month & I was bored to tears. That was the 3rd time I've seen them. The first 2 shows were great, but they've lost something that gives there live show intensity.
