Re: Frank Zappa
I love ZAPPA even though I literally just started getting into his music. I bought "Strictly Commercial" and I must say it's an awsome collection of tunes. I know it only skims the surface of Zappa's work but it's a great collection. Funny, rocking, brilliant, and a nice departure from the standard pop song format.

Re: Frank Zappa
I love Zappa, I have every single album ever released, every bootleg, rarities, etc... but there's only so much I can take! My preference is for his albums such as Grand Wazoo, where he isn't being silly, just straight-up amazing music. The jokes wear thin after a while, but I will always love Frank. RIP.

Re: Frank Zappa
Franks music has always been a bit weird to me but some of his stuff is very cool.

Re: Frank Zappa
Yep, I love him. Some of it is not necessarily to my taste, but the wonderful thing about Zappa is that there is sooooo much everyone should be able to find something that they like.
Shame I missed the recent tour with Dweezil an SV.

Re: Frank Zappa
I have the audio for the manchester gig if anyones interested? it was a great set.
Even when dweezils guitar lost all signal (loads of 'sack the roadie' comments)
it was great they played Pound for a brown and filthy habbits which was not on the set list. Absoluty fantastic.
And yeah there is so much to listen to...i know people who pnly listen to Franks Stuff
