Freak Guitar Camp 2004

Mattias IA Eklundh's annual guitar camp has come around again.

I have, and I'm going for the second international week.
This is going to be a great start to my gap year.

I said that I could attend either of the international weeks, and they put me into the second one. Which means that the first week is full.

anyone checked out his "apprentice" Johan Randen?
He released an album at the age of 13 (all songs written by I.A, but all songs are played by Johan)
and the performance by the young kid is simply incredible.
Surprisingly mature playing. The CD is called "Johan Lead Guitar"
if anyoneīd like to check it out.
Iīm looking forward to his next CD.

Johan is great....I have a video of him playing with IA on a Young Guitar DVD....the dood has taste as well as chops. He definately doesn't need to rely on his young age to convince people of his talent. He's just plain good!

Yeah johan rules! Great kid too , i used to talk to him quite regularly , very humble about his ability etc. He told me that his new CD was going to be more progressive than 'lead guitar' , cant wait

I havenīt seen him play yet but the CD is great.
I hope to catch him "Live" in sweden sometime soon.

Yup , he said in an email he will be writing all of the tracks on the cd!
