Had a debate on another music site about this. If you take two songs by most artists, change the key, tempo, and cut one to fit the other, it's not that hard to make them fit together is it.

I am not saying they aren't similar......but i bet you could do it with Vai, Satch, Jimi, Queen, Britney, the beatles (need i go on?)

Actually, Chad Kroeger has admitted to deliberately writing radio friendly singles, and describes Someday as being the "How You Remind Me-type single song" of the album. I still like Nickelback, but yea, the songs they write to be singles get a little old pretty quick.

They're still great live though
