Funeral for a Friend - NME 2004 awards tour.
Just came back from seeing Franz Ferdinand, the Von Bondies, the Rapture, and Funeral for a friend at the Birmingham Academy.
franz were pretty good. didn't think much of von bondies, the rapture were boring.
Funeral for a Friend were fricken amazing. Thats the first time i've had shivers seeing a heavy-ish band live, it was so good. The guitarists are awesome, and they played flawlessly (the melodies are pretty complicated to play, especially while jumping etc). If you have a chance to check these guys out , do it!!.
