Funny Ibanez promotional video.

Hey folks,

I was on youtube and I came across a video taken at the "Ibanez Festival". It's quite an old video by the looks of things, but still within the lifespan of the JEM7VWH?

Anyway, it shows Paul Gilbert, Andy Timmons and Steve Vai together with a drummer (on a set of TAMA drums) with Gilbert singing. The song is like a promotion of Hoshino's companies (Ibanez and TAMA), and Laney amps are mentioned too.

Can't say Paul sung it well, but it was funny to watch, and they looked to be enjoying themselves. While Vai was doing his solo, he actually broke a string, and you can see him quickly swap the guitar for a JEM7VWH while the drummer does his bit.

Yeah it's a cool show, the Ibanez 90th anniversary party in 97, and that's not just "a" drummer, that's the one, the only, the amazing, ...Simon Phillips !

Always a pleasure to stumble across that footage. AT steals the show in my opinion. Such a tasteful player

Haha. yeah I love that video. I actually really like Paul's solo. Vai did pretty well considering he broke a string.
Haha Andy got pretty much left out besides his solo. haha
