If I'm not mistaken he's playing the legendary Peter Green Les Paul which is now owned by some Guitar dealer who's asking £2,000,000 for it. I guess that's £100,000 per second of sustain ;-)

I recently watched the Strat Pack concert celebrating the anniversary of the Strat on HDNet. Gary Moore did a rendition of Red House and absolutely lit it up. Check it out if you get a chance. His tone and technique was amazing - Strat right into a Marshall.
