Good Acoustic Albums

Anyone have any recomendations for some good acoustic tunes?
I've found myself reaching for my acoustic more and more lately, so I've been looking for some good inspiration.
I have quite a few Unplugged albums (Nirvana, Both Pearl Jams, AIC, Coldplay, Eric Clapton, Radiohead) but I'm looking for something a little more virtuoso in style. I haven't really been digging on the spanish or bluegrass stuff though. Am I too picky? Help me out.

Another not so virtuoso one, but Whitesnake - Starkers in Tokyo, I love the unplugged versions of the Whitesnake classics. A great vocals and acoustic set.

Seconded. In fact just buy all these Return To Forever albums anyway:

Hymn Of The Seventh Galaxy
Where Have I Known You Before
No Mystery
and of course, Romantic Warrior!

I never said I didn't like Spanish guitar. Just that I'm not digging on it right now. My ears are searching for something particular for the acoustic right now. Indeed, I already have some Paco. I have some Richard Thompson, too. "Vincent Black Lightning 1952" is one of the best folk songs ever.

Coldplay is awesome for mellowing out.

The words "Whitesnake" and "Classics" do not mesh well in my brain.

Re: Good Acoustic Albums

The late great Michael Hedges "Aerial Boundaries" would have to be one of the finest acoustic guitar albums ever - years and years ahead of his time (and sadly no longer with us), Kaki King's first album, any album with John McLaughlin, Al Dimeola and Paco De Lucia on it, and of course absolutely anything by Django Reinhart - man! Could that guy play!

Just buy some Antonio Forcione or Tommy Emmanuel albums.

You won't be disappointed.

Some good gypsy jazz, preferably from the master himself, Mr. Reinhardt.

Re: Good Acoustic Albums

+1 on Tommy Emmanuel - picked up "The Mystery" recently and I absolutely love it. Also, the new Eric Bibb "Diamond Days" is good.
