"Guitar Farm" New album from Rikk Beatty now available!!!

Hey folks! My new album is now available for sale at CDBaby.com at: www.cdbaby.com/cd/rikkbeatty3

This is my first album released under the label "Maurice the Fish Records" out of L.A. and Seattle. The CD Release party for the album will be held on December 14th at Little Creek Casino in Shelton, WA. There will be giveaways from Ibanez including a guitar, t-shirts, and hats, Dimarzio (pickups, straps, cables, and t-shirts), and Digitech (pedals of course!)

We are shooting a DVD of the release party and will have 5 HD cameras there. Since the album is called "Guitar Farm" I will have 16 Ibanez guitars around the front and sides of the stage on stands with corn stalks woven through them all and bails of hay next to each side of the stage plus other "farm/music stuff around the room". The label is planning on some cool giveaways that they are having made for the show as well and we will have our new t-shirts and hoodies there with the new Rikk Beatty Band "Scarab" logo like my guitar fret inlays.

We will also be shooting two videos for this album. One of the song "Guitar Farm" and the other "Amazing Grace" which will have the main location of Mt Rainier for the video. The videos will be shot in February and in July of this next year.

Well thats it for now but please if you pick a copy up let me know what you think! This is the first Digitech tour I have had the albums on and they have been selling REALLY well! The album is done in a Digipack and has a booklet included inside as well. I really think the artwork through out the entire booklet and Digipack came out GREAT.

If you are able to come out to the truck to get a copy it will include a full color poster of the album cover as well!

It was really cool meeting you tonight. I am sorry I couldn't stay longer. I had to get the kids fed and then home. Home is about 50 minutes away, so we had to get moving. I was expecting maybe a T-shirt, you blew me away with giving a pedal. Thank you very much.

I take it Edwards didn't do a very good job in advertising the event. What a shame, but I bet you guys are ready to head home at this point. Thanks for taking the time to chat. Just so you know, I need to tell you that you indirectly sold an RP 500. A friend of mine is a pastor. They have a lead guitarist who is a poor college kid and he has zero equipment. They are buying him a modeler, but they didn't know which one to get. He came to me for direction and they are now picking up the RP 500 for him. You sold me and indirectly sold them.

No problem! I knew from your first post when you said "kids in tow" you might not be able to stay for long. Out of the 3 times I did the clinic at the store today I had one REALLY good turnout. The other two were... well you saw. lol It was still allot of fun and I am very glad to have met you! I hope you get good use out of the pedal and Merry early Christmas!

That is so cool about the RP500. I have to tell you he will just LOVE it. That pedal is just amazing and the price makes it even cooler! lol I am so glad he is getting hooked up with one!

Well our next show is scheduled on New Year's Eve. Too bad you cant make it down to the CD Release Party though. I am sitting here looking at all the giveaways and... holy cow there is allot of stuff to give away! I got the Ibanez guitar in the mail today from Ibanez, 4 Ibanez shirts, 4 Ibanez hats, 3 Dimarzio shirts, 1 Dimarzio pickup, 3 Dimarzio Clip Lock Straps, 4 Digitech shirts, and 4 Digitech pedals! WOW!!

Anyhow the New Years Eve show will be at "The South Pacific" in Olympia, WA. Cover is $5.00 and there will be two other bands aside from mine. No giveaways but it will be a fun show!
