GuitaRevolution Tour ( Skolnick, Poland, Friedman )

Just saw this last night at Canes in San Diego. F'ing INCREDIBLE. Marty's new stuff is awesome, and he also played 2 songs from his Shrapnel release "Dragons Kiss" from the 80's. He was unbelievable. Chris Poland shocked the heck out of me. I only knew of him from early Megadeth. I had no idea he was an incredible fusion player now who absolutely SHREDS. He was insane. Alex's band ( jazz ) was also kickass. At the end, Alex turned on the distortion and starting RIPPING IT UP! Totally kick ass show, G3 is gonna be hard pressed to beat this act in my opinion!

Got my recently acquired '88 RG560 signed by all three, with friedman on the back of the headstock for good measure.

WAY too much fun. :-)

Hi!
Marty always intrigued me- his right hand style is interesting to watch to me.

Poland is awesome. His release after *leaving* Megadeth is one I still listen to now and then (Damn The Machine, self titled, OOP tho I believe).

Skolnick has also been quite versatile. Great player. Wish they would hit some country that would broadcast it on TV so I could at least see them at some point-hehehe. Nikki

Is this tour still going on? Are they coming to the East coast? I just checked ticketmaster and it said, "dates not yet scheduled" and I'm reading about all you guys seeing them recently. UGH, I always find out about things 1 day late lol
