Re: He came to rock, and he rocked like no other
OK, story time. I saw Pantera on the Far Beyond Driven tour in Tokyo. It was a really small venue and they sounded incredible. I was in the balcony almost center, right on the railing. So they do a few tunes from each album and near the end of the show Phil Anselmo says "Alright, we've played everything we wanted to play, now what do you want to hear?" I had been listening to their cover of Sabbath's "Planet Caravan" from that album a lot. I guess the Japanese people didn't really understand what he said because they weren't saying much. So I lean over the rail, almost falling, and yell at the absolute top of my lungs "SABBBBAAAAATTHHHHH!!!!" Dimebag points right at me, (I was literally only about 50 feet away) and then Anselmo points at me and says "You got it dude" and they go into a 4 song Sabbath medley on the spot. I almost crapped my pants. As geeky as it may sound, I will never forget that moment as long as I live. RIP Dime.

Yeah, they do seem to be dry-humping his corpse rather vigorously huh?

Re: He came to rock, and he rocked like no other
I saw Pantera at Festival hall, last time they were here.
I was right in front of Dime' and during the set, he bent over, smiled and handed me a pick!
I never thought how that moment would stay with me-----
until this date, two years ago.
RIP DIME, RIP
