"Heretic" New Morbid Angel record +sneak peak trac

This is it!
what I've been waiting for since Gateways, and what we've needed since Formulas! judging by the downloadable preview, this is more of a continuation of Formulas Fatal to the flesh!

This track just absolutly rips! and once again Morbid Angel continue to forge on with thier "sound" not changing a thing, but not regressing!

I can't reccomend this band enough to people as thier songwriting and lyrical content put them far above any band in the genre, well right next to immolation!

Trey has really put the 7 string to good use on this track and I imagine the rest of the cd to be just absolutly flowing Lava and Mud!

Thanks once again to the Cichild Gill Flarer gravel spitting inspierer for the Lava flows and the mud thickens at our feet!

May they come with Fire and burn the flesh from this earth~!

Blessed be the most Ancient Ones!

Yep, I can't wait to hear this CD. I love everything except for the Formulas CD.

Well I've had the cd for little over a month now, and since it will be out on spetember 23rd in north america and a video shortly after it I thought I would give a little review!

I just must say I think this is some of the most intelligent writing music wise since Domination, the cd's since domination were death metal no question with straight forward composition, and while this cd still has that, this cd also has the incredible writing of Trey once again! Songs like Cruse the Flesh and Stricken Arise! just blow my mind, this cd is such a cross between blessed are the sick and formulas!

there is such a thrash element to this cd, yet still that perfect flow of lava and mud!

Incredible!!
I just can't stop listening to this disc!!!

Heretic rocks! I didn't like it too much at first, but it has really grown on me. It is indeed very different from past Morbid Angel stuff. Lots of quiet, tremolo picked lines playing off the wall from each other (that's the best I can describe it).

I bought Formulas Fatal to the Flesh not too long ago, and that is without a doubt my favorite of all Morbid Angel's releases. Now I just need to track down a copy of Alters of Madness, and my Morbid Angel encyclopidia will be up to date.
