Iron Maiden album leaked.

Newest album was leaked onto the internet today. If you know how to get these things, this is a heads up for you.

Not telling how to get it.

You know, it's odd, as much as I love heavy metal, I never could get into Iron Maiden or Judas Priest or Kiss. Those are like the 3 biggest bands that all my friends liked and I couldn't stand them, no real reason why? Weird...

He is one of the greatest singers of rock that's for sure. I'm really looking forward to hearing the new album.

I agree, I actually like each of the members of the band (truly very talented) and can truly appreciate what they do, I just plain never actually liked it. I know, it's weird...

Re: Iron Maiden album leaked.

I love Maiden. Although I pretty much stopped buying their albums after "Somewhere In Time". By then I'd moved on to newer things. I still find myself (20 years later) jamming along happily to the first six albums. That stuff is just fun to play! I think I'm ready to buy this new album when it comes out.

Dave Murray Rules!

I used to love Iron Maiden back in like 1984. Saw them live in 1986 and they were great, but after that they started to suck big time. I think it was when Yanick Gers joined and Adrian Smith left. Nowadays they suck even more, I don't know how anyone can stand them.

Powerslave was a total classic of it's time.

I think Brave New World was a great album. I plan on getting this one when it comes out. Kiss on the other hand would have to get better to suck they are so bad.

Same here!! Although i also agree with Dee and Supermau, it all went t*ts up after Caught Somewhere In Time Couple of good songs on Seventh Son... but i gave up then

There are some Priest songs i don't mind when i've heard them but never been inspired to buy anything of theirs. As for Kiss, i cannot for the life of me understand why such a mediocre rock band became so huge and revered.

No doubt. Gilk....you better have you head checked

Actually, I'll always love Mainden for the influence they were on me. They ARE the reason I picked up guitar. I love ALL of their albums up until Adrian left.

Yanick just plain STINKS and is a lead hog

Now that Adrian is back, the best thing they could do would be to dump yanick, or just make him a rhytym player and get rid of the slop!

I hear the new album is pretty good. I may have to pick it up for old times sake

The following are true metal classic and will live on forever!!!

Number of the Beast
Piece of Mind
Powerslave
Somewhere in time

But I also like
Iron Maiden
Killers

Seventh Son was okay.

Everything after that stinks (IMHO)

Totally agree. Somewhere in Time was great, and quite a departure for Maiden because they started using synths (something they said they'd never do, if I recall correctly), plus Gallien Krueger amps which have that distinctive chorus-y kind of sound.

KISS... forget it. What a ridiculous band! Although I shouldn't say anything because I work for Derek Sherinian who was their keyboard player (check the KISS Alive III album). On second thoughts, don't!

Yeah, i was never into fancy dress though
And as for make-up Remember the poll about make-up;yay or natural....i didn't realise it should've been for blokes too

When listing the Maiden classics wouldn't it have been easier to put "first 6" than listing them all
I LOVE the first 2 albums, really enjoy the rawness of the sound and a lot of the lyrics are humorous or tongue-in-cheek stuff. Simpler times and a**e-kickingly good

Re: Iron Maiden album leaked.

I remember reading somewhere the Gene Simmons ran into Yngwie at a pub in Prague (or there abouts) and Gene was like "So what are you doing these days" and Yngwies all like "I just recorded an album with a 90 piece orchestra" and Genes all Like "Well you can do that because you actually know how to play"..

or something like that...
