Just noticed the article about this cd!! Haven't noticed anything so i thought i'd point it out!

I don't think it is a tribute cd. It is a complilation of his fav songs. I think Vai and Satch appear on one of the new ones he composed.

There are two separate volumes of that tribute to Jason Becker. I have them both. Basically the songs are Jason/Cacophony compositions or songs from DLR era played by amazing musicians (Rusty Cooley, Ted Morose, Torben Enveldosen, Mysteria...) or bands, but there are some players like Paul Gilbert, Marty Friedman or Steve Vai who donate or composed a song from his own catalog (Feathers in the case of Steve at Vol. 2) to the project. Also there is an AMAZING JAM as the last track of the fist cd. Highly recommended to everyone!

Yeah, there are two tribute CD's regarding Jason becker.

This is just a "best of" album with a few new songs. Cool songs though! I bought it the day it came out on amazon.

Jason Becker is still one of my greatest inspirations. Amazing player, composer and human being.

I'll move the post. Tommy is a really good guy, but internet forums and their layouts and such sort of escape him I doubt he knows he's not in his own thread.
