I've always thought "Crushing Day" by Joe Satriani sounded like the background music that you would hear off one of the Mega man games.

Vai's Halo track was pretty unimpressive IMO. He coulda done a lot better. That _game_ screams for some hardcore, THICK heavy-metal riffage.
