Funny thing is that Zakk is hardly ever "drunk". He's noted in MANY interviews that yes - he DOES enjoy a few beers. But that he can't stand people who drink to get drunk. He'll have a few, get a buzz on and then call it quits. He never lets it have a negative impact on his playing.

And Zakk is a pretty damned big guy in person. I've been pretty intimidated each time I've met him. He's a helluva nice guy though.

However, I don't think he'd have any problem turning Petrucci into prog-rock pudding

No doubt! I'm sure you've met JP as well, and I'm sure you'll agree there is a ~tad~ bit of size difference there JP only looks massive because he's sharing the stage with Satch and Gilbert. They aren't exactly GIANTS Put Zakk on the same stage with those three and then you'll be saying someone's massive

Seems to me like he'd be an efficient fighter.

I've never met JP, but he seems like a very calm guy, and that's exactly why I think he would win. I've seen so many calm guys that doing everything to avoid a fight, but when they couldn't scape from it... they've beaten the hell out of their aggresor. They lose control of their actions, and become too agrevise. I believe they release all the anger inside.
Anyway, I don't see any reason why JP and ZW would even start a fight.
