Anyway thats why I love GoldFrapp so much - think "an English hottie with Mariah Carey's vocal abilities and absolutley amazing songs" - she makes me melt! but other than her there really aren't that many others out there.....

I haven't liked much from her, but surprisingly this is pretty good IMO.

As for the Supremes, you mean the chord progression, because I don't hear it in the melody or words which is the copyrightable portion of a song.

Not that they're necessarily bad singers, though. What makes me say that they're "pretty much terrible" is the fact that a lot of it is all so fabricated.

There's a Dutch singer out here who sings all these love songs. And one time I saw him on TV while he was talking about the fact that he had ended a relationship, with a woman he was supposedly in love with. And he said "Yeah, now I've experienced the thing I've been singing about all this time". Just an example.

I refuse to follow or listen to anything that gets churned out of American idol or any other country idol rubbish.

I am firmly against this show, as I believe it kills the romance with having musicians becomming famous.

Its a horrible show, and I find it wrong in many ways...
