Hey! We got any King's X fans here? I just recently really got into them. My wife has loved them for years. They came to Charlottesville last summer and blew us away! Great live band, and seemingly very nice down to earth people. And, yeah, their new CD Ogre Tones is badass. They're coming back around now, and we're going to see them on Monday. The cool thing is, it's like 5 minutes from my house. Anyway, I just wanted to see what other people think of them.

Oh, yeah. I got into them around "Faith Hope Love", but have the whole collection except the newest. I didn't like Manic Moonlight very much.

But I liked them so much I went looking for similar bands and got a few discs by Galactic Cowboys and Atomic Opera. Very cool (especially GC) - similar in some ways, but also very different.

I saw KX with GC a long time ago. At that time, I had never heard of GC, but they were a fantastic opening act. King's X is just a great band!

I just got into King's X within the last year. I keep kicking myself because I missed a chance to see them not too long ago when I first starting getting into them. Don't make that mistake, go check them out!

Big fan here too....they we here last week. We have a great smaller venue and I expected the show to be packed so we got there early. Much to my surprise, they only were able to sell 300 tickets and gave away 1100. That embarrasses me as one who thought we were building a decent music scene, but I guess no one should complain now when bands don't come to St. Louis anymore, I wouldn't either.

Regardless of the weak crowd, King's X sounded fantastic and they put just as much energy into the show as if there were 20,000 people there. Testament to true professionalism and love of the music.
