Limelight has always been a nostalgic song for me... back in high school, the first "garage band" I pulled together tried to learn Limelight. I have semi-fond memories of standing around counting... 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 1 2 3 4 5 6... definitely my first exposure to the world of constantly-changing time signatures... good training for when I later discovered Dream Theater.
I also remember staying up late trying to figure out how to program my Digitech GSP21 to do the "infinite delay" on the last note of the solo.
Ok, despite all the wacky memories, I really do enjoy the song. Really.
