Luca Turilli's Ibanez

Is he an endorsee? He plays a really nice looking S series with a vine as seen here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZmYmpWsYjk. Does anyone know anything about this guitar?

That's some amazing guitar playing! I'm pretty sure he is endorsed.... Although that could be a J-custom. Although I'm not terribly familiar with j-customs.

Re: Luca Turilli's Ibanez

you sure thats even an Ibanez??? It has a Reb like cutout (although not as deep) and the vine doesn't look like any Ibanez vine I have ever seen.

Re: Luca Turilli's Ibanez

He plays Caparison guitars exclusively these days, although he used to roll Ibanez.

Side note, Luca sweeps my face off...

Re: Luca Turilli's Ibanez

if he plays Caparison, he isn't endorsed by them or mentioned on their website, nor is there any info about this on Luca's site,. where did you get this info?

Ah, thanks. I've seen him playing Ibanez S guitars before and I just figured this was a custom one. It's a little hard to tell in the vid.

It used to be on his site back when it was formatted to match Prophet of the Last Eclipse, under Guitars, it had this picture

and said "Luca Turilli plays Caparison Guitars exclusively". Thats it.

and yet thats not a Caparison...strange, mabie he tried them out for a short time, but I guess he's back to his custom made ones that I can only assume he makes himself.

Re: Luca Turilli's Ibanez

Lucca Turrili might play Caprison guitar, but definatley not exclusively. That guitar your talking about is a custom shop Capelli guitar. Handmade by this Capelli bloke in Italy, he's in progress of creating a signature Lucca model. He's played Capelli guitars for years now ..

Re: Luca Turilli's Ibanez

I never said the guitar was a Caparison, that was simply the picture they had, for whatever reason.
