I love death metal and all, but that just sounded like total $hit..those 8 strings sound horrible, it doesn't even sound like there in tune..

i just love the random sounding riffs like that one at 6.00 on the video.

and also i love the atmosphereic musical journey i feel when i listen to a 40min/20min song in one sitting

Re: MESHUGGAH live track from catch 33 OMG!!!

ok, I guess there officially listed as "tech Metal" lol Hitting that low 8th string and doing feedback doesn't seem to technical to me. I don't know, it just doesn't sound right to me, like everything is off time and out of key and out of tune....perhaps its just a bad example of their music, I want to like it, but after listening to bands like DT and Symphony X its like nails across a chalk board...

Catch 33 is their most umm heaviest, the old stuff was a little more articulate.

i suppose the 8 strings are a bit much in that you can't play anything paricularly fast and have it sound tight

and i prefer their 7 string albums for that reason but their songs and structures on their new sh!t just kicks total a$$
