Michael jackson - he's dead, your tributes folks.

i'd just like to say, thanks for off the wall and thriller. Thanks for the evh beat it solo and for steve stevens solo. As weird as weird as he was, he was a 20th century icon and part of my growing up. He competed in the hardest arena when record sales were high because thats all there was, he always triumphed. He will leave a legacy that has to be recognised as being legendary, one that few will ever lay claim to in quite the same way.
rest in peace.

said this in the other thread but I'll repeat, most likely a hoax. Until it's on actual TV news it's just that.

i was trying to be nice (was i that transparent?)... but now i can let loose as you've opened the floodgates for me! i'll give £2 for his nose. Do you think they'll offer parts of him on the bay? Did i mention i've still not found my digestive biscuit i lost earlier in the sofa? It broke whilst i was dunking it in a cup of tea! what about the folks who have got tickets his stalkers... i mean fans, yes thats it fans. do you think they'll get refunds or do think that idea is off the wall, needless to say there was no chance of him healing the world if he couldn't start with himself. you don't think i'm being off the wall here do you? I think this news is a real thriller either that or its a bad joke. Now where's that biscuit?

In a serious moment of tribute;

Amazing dancer, good singer, colossally exciting entertainer. All negatives aside, the man was the King of Pop.

MJ's departure has actually been a running gag between me and my mates for a while, having met the real Michael Jackson once in an Antwerp pub.

The other one in the mix is usually General Michael "Mike" Jackson
