Mike Keneally

Anyone heard the new Mike Keneally album "Dog" yet? I'd like to get some opinions before i run out and buy it, as his music is often "hit or miss" with me.

It's fine. As in, it's not as amazing as the Piano Reductions disk. I think it lasted 3 days in my stereo, and Jimmy Bruno's "Burnin' " went back in. I'll listen to it again, but it's like a lot of heavily Zappa influenced albums; it sounds heavily Zappa influenced.

Would you say it's more along the lines of
1-"Hat"
2-"Sluggo"
3-"Dancing"
?

Not particularly like any of them; though probably sluggo more than the other two.

Not in the same league as dancing.....though still great...

The DVD is really good!

YES! The DVD is awesome... I particularly love the making of 'Physics'... that's some sick work by both Rick and Bryan.

Ah, bad news considering that Sluggo is my least favorite keneally album.
