Anyone who has read these, go there now, if you haven't, go here 1st then follow up.

This is a must for anyone interested in recording or ever having the hopes of getting signed. Not to mention, its just funny stuff.

Re: Mixerman Threads Are Back ! ! !

I even bought the book, the funniest $20 you can spend! Of course, if this is the current state of music these days, it's sad.

DOH, just checked the link, those have been up for about a year now, we're still waiting for him to add to them.

Thanks for the link!
I never heard about this until now. I got almost nothing done at work yesterday as I was reading the whole thing from the beginning.

How many chapters are there in the Bitch Slap sessions? I got to week 8, day 5 and I also read the Renegade Lance entries. Does the book contain anything more? Did they ever manage to record and release the album?

As far as I know you have to get the book from his site. And yes, I think it does have more but I can't tell you what off the top of my head, it's been so long since I read the 'net entries. The Lance diaries are not in the book, some legal thing.

No, BS is still working on recording, that's what the 2nd set of diaries is about. But, those stop short somewhere at playing poker, so maybe they were just a build up to book #2.

Re: Mixerman Threads Are Back ! ! !

Thanks Roger,
I didn't go to the new link because I wanted to read all the old stuff before I started on the new diaries. Oh well, I can't wait for the book to arrive before I start the next section so I'm diving in now. Hope it will be a calm week at work.
