Music you listen to that isn't often discussed
This is a thread to list a few bands/artists that you listen, that aren't usually of topic on this forum.
Share your tastes.
I'll start it off with
Jeff Buckley
Damien Rice
Bootsy Collins
DJ Shadow
Squarepusher
Daft Punk
Anyone else listen to these guys?
(Anyone else get the feeling TwoHands is going to take this post to school?)

I too would throw Jeff Buckley, David Bowie, Mike Keneally (everyone seems to know him from Vai but nobody really talks about how brilliant "Cause Of Breakfast" or "Why Am I Your Guy" are) and The Tea Party (great guys!) onto the table and add:
Placebo
Muse
My Bloody Valentine
John Mayer
(that little bugger can PLAY!)

I was going to put Muse in there but they are somewhat discussed, so I didn't - but they're amazing. And yes, John Mayer can play, I saw him live a few months ago and he rocked, even if his compositions are all too nice soft and cuddly for my tastes...

Well, I am one of those people that listens to everything, if I have to!Obviously if I had a preference I would listen to metal etc. But round my way, everyone listens to "chart music". Which, be far, most of the time is crap
. But I listen to anything really I suppose, I think you have to or else everything would drive you mad!
My 2 favourite singers ever are.....Lionel Ritchie and Barry White. So I listen to all their stuff all the time. And I think its good to have broad musical tastes, its good for ya. I mean, nearly ALL their songs are what I call "classics".
I also listen to Rod Stewart, The Rolling Stones, Creme, Fleetwood Mac etc
