My Band -Sat Night - Danbury CT

The Keystone band ( www.thekeystoneband.com )
is playing LOUD Classic Rock at Molly Darcy's in Danbury CT on Saturday night. We are 2 guitars, bass & drums plus a percussionist.
We're older guys that have day jobs, but love to rock out. We have more gear on stage than most bands you've seen before:

.... SIX Marshall 4x12 cabs with 3 heads
....TWO 4x12" Harke Bass cabs with G&K power head
.....8-piece Pearl Master Series drum kit with DOZENS of Zildian cymbals
....Congas, Bell Trees, cowbells, roto-toms & cymbals
....The PA has 2 QVC-18" powered subs per side plus 4 QVC-15" powered mids w/horns on top
.....Allen & Heath 16 channel mixing board with 150' 16-channel snake
.....SIX wedge monitors on stage plus a rack of Lexicon digital effects, DBX compressors, Aural Exciters
.....TWELVE PAR can 64 stage lights on Aluminum tresses around the top of the stage, (2) programmable follow spots and (2) programmable lazer lights and a dry-fog machine.

GUITARS FOR SATURDAY:
1990 Ibanez UV77MC (multicolor)
2006 Charvel EVH Art Series (Black/Yellow Stripes)
2006 Fender Custom Shop Super-Relic Strat (Pink)
2006 Gibson ES-355 ( Black)
2005 PRS Hollowbody II (Violin Sunburst)
1972 Rickenbacker 4001 (blonde)

So if you happen to find yourself in the area on Saturday night and you want to see a show like the "old days" COME-ON-DOWN!! You won't be dissapointed!

Ok..... at the age most of the band members appear, I'm sure there are one or two with kids, well.... maybe even teenagers. Ever hear of child labor???? There is your "road crew".... put the kids to work! Because at your age you'll be herniating stacking those 4x12 cabs! Have a great show!

Re: My Band -Sat Night - Danbury CT

Well, we had a great gig.
Almost 700 counted at the door, which is a killer crowd for standard radio spots and flyers up 1 week prior to the show.

We recorded the night on Cubase with a direct feed off the mixing board through Mark Of The Unicorn digital converters diretly into my Sony Vaio laptop. Our soundman owns a recording studio with Michael Vescera- yup- the singer of many Yngwie Malemsteen records- and he dumped the recording into his REAL ProTools studio for mixdown.

Also, we had a Videographer who tapes for a cable Sportschannel show there recording video all night- idea is to sync the video with ProTools audio mix for a really high quality demo on our website. It should be ready in a week or so.

The UV77MC (Holy Grail) was ASTOUNDING.
Although I was a bit afraid to let-it-rip 'cause I haven't learned the limitations of the trem yet, I did an "eruption" style guitar-apella opening of the second set and she didn't let me down :^).
