Bjork sounds like Jon Anderson?

Oh, and listing them alphabetically would help....

Oh. I didn't know Lean Into It was released in 1991. It's now my favorite 80s-sounding album.

And yes, to me Bjork sounds like a female Jon Anderson. She does a bit more crazy stuff, but a lot of the stuff on Homogenic sounds like it was written by Jon Anderson (the melodies, that is)

The 80's didn't end until 1994, so don't worry.

I thought they ended in 1991 when Nirvana's "Nevermind" came out.

They're just generic responses designed to confuse people.

I was skipping through the list and noticed you have a couple Tool CDs. As a hard core Tool fan I had to read through your comments. As a hard core Tool fan I have to Post a reply to your comments.
It is easy to percieve Maynard Jamed Keenen's vocals as mindless or on drugs or whatever, but I am convinced there is more to them than that. Maynard's lyrics have been used in university philosophy classes as examples of perceptive outlooks on religion, modern culture, and the way we percieve life. I normally don't fully grasp the meaning behind them, but that leaves room for interpretation that isn't possible with a lot of lyrically straightforward and simple songs. I'm not saying that all lyricists should be, or try to be more like Maynard, but I think Maynard deserves better than to be called a "mindless rambler".
Apart from that, I think it's a good idea for a thread and I enjoyed reading the comments.

Ugh. The thought of cataloging my CDs makes my head hurt. It'd take far too much time to actually comment on 1000+ discs LOL Currently, the Monkees box set, Rage Against the Machine's "Evil Empire" and the remastered "Pet Sounds" are amongst my favs.

"Joe Satriani Is There Love In Space? Joe's best recorded tone, probably one of my two favorite joe albums"

"Joe Satriani Crystal Planet Probably one of my two favorite Satch albums"

"Joe Satriani Strange Beautiful Music Mediocre Satch album"

Hmm.... Crystal Planet and Is There Love in Space? are my two least favorite Satch albums. I thought Strange Beautiful Music was pretty good, as well as having his best tones.
