My interview with Dave Mustaine!

My site's been on fire with the interviews lately! Bumblefoot last week, Dave Mustaine today, and I just got off the phone from interviewing Ace Frehley. Oh yeah and some dude named Vai in a few weeks!

Not too many comments here - it appears a lot of people are keeping diplomatically (an odd concept on a forum) quiet on the subject of Mustaine. He says some of the oddest things.....

I like Megadeth, but what I've heard ('Headcrusher') of the new stuff sound just like 'Sleepwalker' with different lyrics. The guitars are good though.
I think the songwriting peaked between 'Countdown..' and 'Youthanasia'.

I am always entertained by Mustaine interviews. He gets older and wiser.

The new album is streaming on their myspace in case anyone is interested. It sounds very good.

Lots of old school shredding. Makes me reminisce of my highschool days listening to rust in peace 24/7.
