Need help identifying a song...

Ok, I heard this song on the radio a while back and have been looking for it for a while now...

It sounds like something made in the late 60s or early 70s...it had an orchestra playing in the background as a guy read poetry over it, I remember a line something like "where white is black, and black is white"...any ideas? This song is kind of creepy but really cool, and I'd like to know what it is!

Sounds like the Moody Blues' Nights in White Satin. Is this the lyric?
"Breathe deep the gathering gloom,
Watch lights fade from every room.
Bedsitter people look back and lament
Another day's useless energy is spent.
Impassioned lovers wrestle as one;
Lonely man cries for love and has none;
New mother picks up and suckles her son;
Senior citizens wish they were young.

Cold-hearted orb that rules the night
Removes the colours from our sight,
Red is grey and yellow white
But we decide which is right
And which is an illusion. "

I saw them in the Garden years ago when the got Patrick Moraz on keyboards. They were great live, but so much of their stuff sounds so dated now. (Which I guess is normal considering how old it all is )
