New Joe Satriani Album

Just found out that the new Joe Satriani album "Super Colossal" is hitting the stores March 14. I'm looking forward to it , but the cover reminds me a bit to much of the "Is There Love In Space?" album which was a nice album but not exactly the best.

Yeah, can't wait. I agree that ITLIS wasn't the best. Hopefully it'll be better. Can't wait for the tour with EJ in April. They're finally coming to Mexico!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm just dissappointed that the sony music store doesn't have any promotions going with that album (autograph, free poster, etc.) like they have been doing for joe's other releases lately. maybe they will eventually. anyhow, i can't wait to hear it. he's always got something different to offer on every album.

I thought ITLIS was pretty good, not as good as Crystal Planet tho

I was just about to say the same thing. HAve you guys heard that tune?!? I think that track by itself justifies the purchase of the whole album (which in my opinion isn't really that bad...). As for the new album I'm really excited but I find the cover artwork disgusting.

There's usually a filler track on a Satch album, BUT, most folks tend to disagree on which track it actually is So it's ALL good

p.s. my fave track on is there love in space is "up in flames" particularly the lead break at about 2-12.

In fact tonight I will mostly have been listening to Satch
