New music from my (former) band.

We haven't played live for over 18 months, but we went into the studio a few times over the last year to lay down tracks for all the new material we wrote and collaborated on. Organical's second CD is now mixed and mastered, and we have a few tracks available on the band's web site, and CDs are available to be ordered.

http://www.organical.net

There's also another track on our MySpace site at http://www.myspace.com/organical

We may get back together and start playing live again, but nothing's been confirmed yet.

Re: New music from my (former) band.

The site's not bad... the old site was better, but Steve wanted to re-do it and take it over himself. I just don't have time to spend on updating it. We call Toronto our home base.

Most of my playing is mixed in the right channel (though i don't actually play at all on the recorded version of Never Been So Close). We're a two-guitar band, and our two styles complement each other really well. Steve is the singer/songwriter and he plays some really screwed-up, dense, slightly atonal chords, and i could never figure out what the heck he was playing, so i just play in the air around his notes.

I especially like my tone on Super-Villain, and i love the Indian vocal sample in the midsection of Burden of Gravity.

If we decide to play live again, we're going to need a drummer and bass player, as both Rob and Nina have moved on to other projects.
