No Vai This Fall With G3!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had platinum tickets to Satriani monday night in Tampa. Shook hands with the man himself!!!! This is info from his crew......There will be no Vai going out with G3 this fall. He has commitments to the Zappa thing he's doing so it will be Satch and some all new players. It is going to be strange to go to a show without Vai but this was one of the topics of conversation backstage while we were waiting to Meet and Greet with Joe after the show. It was his people I heard it from so take it for what its worth but I believe its going to be different this year than in the past...no VAI!!!!!!!

Still - VAI is always the main reason I go to the G3's.

He has the best most energetic shows I've ever seen - Hands Down!!!

Wow, I always thought of G3 as Satch + Vai + Other.

Since we're picking 2 more, I'd say Paul Gilbert and Richie Kotzen!!!
