Re: Paul Gilbert album

Burning Organ is fair and away the most listenable, song-wise.

Spaceship one is poor at best. None of the skilled songwriting of the others.

I really liked Burning Organ, that was my favourite. From his solo things anyway.

Re: Paul Gilbert album

Start with 'Paul the Young Dude'... it's like a greatest hits. I don't know if they're still packaging it with Gilbert Hotel- that would be a plus. Then you can sample a little bit from each album.

That said, Burning Organ is probably my fave, but for shredheads, Alligator farm does have 'Let the Computer Decide' AND 'Whole Lotta Sonata'. You can't really go wrong with a Gilbert album... so many good songs.
