Paul Gilbert DVDs

I got the Intense Rock I and II DVD that was released recently because I had borrowed I.R. I a long time ago from a friend and it was one of the best instructional vids ever, because it had useful licks that you can actually apply to your own playing. And now that I got the DVD, I finally got to see II also. Not as many "licks" as the first one but some good tips/advice too.

My question is, he has two other DVDs - Terrifying Guitar Trip and a brand new one relating to Get Out Of My Yard that says it's two hours! Does anyone have either of these and can offer comments/opinions? Thanks.

Re: Paul Gilbert DVDs

I have Get Out Of My Yard and it is more a walk through on how Paul came up with the songs, and the basic "how to". I ordered it from Japan with the live at the Hard Rock bonus disc and it is well worth it.

Re: Paul Gilbert DVDs

As Ayrton says, the GOOMY one is purely him going through some of the licks on the album but it's great to watch. TGT is some licks along with Paul talking about his career and stuff, and some other clips. They are probably not as instructional as I.R I+II, and he doesn't break things down in as much detail, but they are very cool DVD's, and a must for any Gilbert fan IMO.

oh man, the get out of my yard dvd is worth every penny, i absolutely love that dvd. the hard rock show is sorta funny, on twelve twelve i think it is, his backing track starts skipping, and so he just starts jamming to himself till they fix it. it was a really cool dvd to watch.
