Paul Gilbert/RacerX experts - instrumentals?

Hey guys,

Like many of you, I really dig what Paul Gilbert does. I got into his work with the release of his CD "Burning Organ", but I don't know much of his years with RacerX.

I'm curious to know all the titles of the instrumental tunes he did with RacerX. Only 2 titles come to my mind: "Scarified" and "Technical Difficulties", but I'm sure they did some more instrumental tunes than these 2.

Can someone help?

I think Jason got all of them...
Scit Scat Wah is my favourite, too bad they never made a studio version of it.

My suggestion, don't just get the instrumentals - get everything. Everything is good, and alot of songs have very very good solos
Great band.

There's a version of it on live extreme....... BUT... the one from the G3 is the bomb...... honestly, the tunes bad ass....... the sextuplet run after the intro is MAD!

Otherwise, Viking Kong kicks arse, the bit after the 3 note shred lick with the e bar chord and open e leaves Paul to unleash into mega crazy shred mode, check out the multiple versions he has done live... he goes nuts....

Yeah I've been trying to learn scit scat wah for a while now. The sextuplet note run has really screwed me over. I say in about a year I might be able to fully get the song down. (I haven't been playing guitar as long as most of you guys, I've been playing for about 5 years and I was never serious about playing until about a year ago.)

Don't worry, I don't think many would have that run down perfect in the world, let alone on this forum (and I definitely include myself in that basket)! Metronome it up and increase the tempo, you will get there (I keep telling myself that)...... Alternate picking technique comes from one thing - PRACTICE and a lot of it. So don't worry, if you've only been serious for the last year, i'd say if you can get the melody down at tempo, you are doing well....

Personally I reckon the hardest part comes at the end of the song, using the pentatonic death stretch from doom pioneered in the tune Colorado Bulldog..... Check it out in this vid....
